This is basically how a blockchain works. Instead of a notebook, it’s a digital ledger (a list of records) that is shared across many computers, called a “chain.” Each entry in the ledger is called a “block.” Every time someone adds a new block (like a transaction), everyone in the network checks and agrees that it’s valid before it’s added to the chain. Once it’s added, it stays there permanently.
Because the information is spread across many computers and can’t be changed, it’s very secure. This makes blockchain a reliable way to track things like money, property, or even data without needing a central authority like a bank.
